Well i have just got another dog myself and i needed:
Water and food bowl considering its size
Dog collar and lead considering its size
Some toys because i believe that all dogs should have toys to play with for entertainment
Lots of treats for training
A bed so that when it is had enough it can calm down there (also dont send it on there if being naughty because it will see it for being a place for naughty dogs.)
You can also get a cage for your dog, it might sound mean but i have a Labrador that is 13 months now but i wouldn't have coped without it, plus when you go out it is safe for the dog so it doesn't chew anything dangerous and it will not be in danger from things.
You might need some newspaper also so you can toilet train him.
Dog shampoo for when he gets dirty.
For the first months you get puppy food ( if you read the back of the pack it will tell you about how many months you do that for).
